Full restoration of an elaborate historic wrought iron gate. Scrollwork rebuilt, sunburst re-gilded, and a custom ring-latch mechanism fabricated to replace the failed original.

A gate that had been in the family for generations, with sections of scrollwork missing, a sunburst medallion whose gilding had worn off, and a ring-latch that was no longer safe to use.
We mapped what was there, forged the missing pieces to match the original hand, re-gilded the sunburst in 23K, and built a new ring-latch patterned on gates of the same period.
